These viruses infected the system area of hard drive all of them are memory resident and write on the disks , floppy , flash drive , hard drive , which are not write protected.
3: Master Boot Record Virus:
This type of virus is also memory resident and work same as boot sector virus but difference is that Master boot record infectors normally save a legitimate copy of the master boot record in an different location. Windows NT computers that become infected by either boot sector viruses or master boot sector viruses will not boot
4:Multipartite Virus:
This virus infected both boot sector and program files, this type of virus is very difficult to repair
5: Macro Viruses:
This type of viruses basically damaged the data files, macro virus hot target is MsWord Files excel files PowerPoint files etc
